Completely off the beaten path and nestled in the trees overlooking a sloped ledge down to a brook that gently runs year round, this cabin is everything you need for a quiet escape. Our principal designer lived in this cabin for the first year out of college and renovated in by hand (sanding the wood floors and all) to make it the ideal live/work space. What started off as a completely personal project, expanded into thoughts of opening her own studio one day and creating for her own clients. Little did she know, this DIY design experiment would become the first in Basicspace's portfolio.

Because of this, Cohasset Cabin is nostalgic for us so we keep it on our website to pay homage to it's importance in igniting Basicspace and to always remind us to stay creative and dream big!
